Clinical Social Worker

I am a nationally recognized leader in eating disorder treatment and adolescent mental health with more than 25 years of clinical, academic, and leadership experience. My work is grounded in a core belief: healing happens in relationships. My clinical foundation was shaped through advanced training in family systems and trauma-focused care at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Western Psychiatric Institute. I later held leadership roles within the Harold C. Schott Eating Disorders Program at the Lindner Center of HOPE and Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, where I founded the PROXIMI Recovery Program to strengthen family engagement and outcomes. I have also served as Clinical Director at the Eating Recovery Center and as Program Director of the Eating Disorders Program at Dayton Children's Hospital. I am a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS), certified in Family-Based Treatment (FBT/Maudsley) through the University of Chicago, and have held faculty appointments at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and the Wright State University College of Medicine. In 2011, I was honored as Exemplary Therapist of the Year by NAMI Hamilton County. Above all, I believe families are not the problem—they are often the solution. My commitment is not only to symptom reduction, but to restoring connection, strengthening families, and helping individuals rediscover hope.
