Clinical Social Worker

Purposeful Planning Program

At the NeuroPsych Center, I offer a hybrid of counseling, care planning and educational services. I am also the Program Director for the Giving Voice Foundation, which develops and conducts local programming for persons affected by dementia, as well as for their caregivers. My professional journey includes 6+ years at the Alzheimer's Association, where I first learned about the uniquely difficult challenges brought on by dementia. In addition to my expertise in dementia support, I specialize in grief work, loss of independence, lifestyle & role transitions, isolation, and end-of-life issues. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Psychology from Indiana University and my Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois. I am known to be friendly and engaging, and my goal is to cultivate a strong, therapeutic relationship with those I serve. When not at work, I love to attend local art fairs or spend time with my wonderful village of family, friends, and neighbors. I admittedly love junk food (despite being married to a dietician's son!) and try to balance it all out with yoga.
